We talked about this with the manufacturer, which says "We understand that not all customers may prefer the current doll skin color, despite the satisfaction of the majority. Please be assured that we are actively working on improving our dolls to meet the expectations of our diverse customer base. It's important to note that while tan skin tones are commonly used in the doll industry, achieving a realistic and authentic doll skin tone can be a nuanced process, resulting in variations.".
From our side, we strive to show to our shop visitors as many 'factory pictures' as possible, so to help our customers making up their mind. Many Aibei US stock dolls for example have factory pictures clearly visible in the product page, so as that customers know what they're getting, with no room for misunderstanding.
